Twenty years after first working together in Austria, a trusted professional collaboration begins a new transatlantic chapter

Elite Golf Experiences has welcomed Britta Ortmayr as Golf Travel Manager, renewing a professional relationship that began in Austria twenty years ago.

Based in Austria, Britta brings two decades of sales and management experience, deep destination knowledge, and an extensive network across the international golf-tourism industry. She will contribute to Elite’s continued growth while supporting the development and delivery of its private and hosted golf and lifestyle journeys.

Her connection with Elite founder and CEO Evelyn Gruber dates to 2006, when Evelyn recruited and trained her at the company she had founded as Austria’s first specialist Golf-travel business. Britta began in sales, later managed the office, and remained with the business following its sale in 2008.

Evelyn subsequently relocated to the United States and established Elite Golf Experiences. Their reunion has an unusual transatlantic symmetry: Britta is American but based in Austria, while Evelyn is Austrian and leads her company from the United States.

“Britta brings a rare combination of industry knowledge, sound judgement, composure, and an unfailingly positive outlook,” said Evelyn. “She remains calm and solution-focused when challenges arise and understands the level of service our guests expect. Having the opportunity to work together again makes this particularly meaningful.”
